November

We were able to head back to Minnesota for my sister's birthday and to see a play that a good friend of mine directs in Barnesville. This year it was Grease and our neighbor boy was in it. They all did an awesome job! It was good to touch base and see everyone! Here is a picture of Jaci with my sister's kitties and my nephew Brady (16 months). Do you think there is a future in Basketball or farming??

Going, Going, Gone!

Tooth #3 has came out! Now we just have the other top front one and she can sing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth"

Halloween

It has been a busy month! We did open our second store on October 20th! Amazing times! We were able to take the kids trick and treating a little - or too much from a mom's standpoint! Jaci dressed as a Poodle skirt dancer and Zach was Robin - Batman's side kick! Here they were heading to a harvest dance at school. They had a blast!

October!

It has been a while! I will briefly go through the happenings for the last month and a half! One Saturday I was working and when I came home, Pat and the kids had made me a cake for my birthday. Not knowing if we would be able to on my birthday, they wanted to celebrate! It was delicious and tasted better as a surprise!

Cousin Time!

In September, we were able to head back a see family and friends one more time before the snow flies!! HA! I wanted to get some photos of the trees turning with the kids, but the wind took over and ruled against me! Here were just a few shots at my parents farm of the kids climbing the tire swing and hanging with Grandma.

Visitors

On Monday, my friend from college came back to visit. Andrea and her guy, Curtis, stayed for a couple days to catch up and visit old friends from her hometown (Jamestown). They are from Seattle and we were able to see them last year when we were out for training. They had us to their hotel so that the kids would be able to swim since the weather was a little chilly for a boat ride on the river! The kids always enjoy hanging out with their buddies!

Potato Days 2007!

On Friday, we headed back to Barnesville to take in some of the city wide events of Potato Days. It is good to see old friends and some family while the kids have a blast. Here are Zach and my nephew Connor with their Potatoes from the potato scramble!

The farm girl in me comes out! Here is a beautiful Corn field in front of the sunset.

Here are Jaci and Zach along a bridge with the sunset.

At Grandma and Grandpa's Farm, my uncle Randy brought the kids fishin' in the creek. Jaci was proud of her bullheads!

8 Hot Chicks - Canada or Busts! (16)

On Wednesday August 8th, a bunch of us (original) Fergus Falls Hotties headed North for the 2nd annual Mommies on the lam weekend. Robin invited us to her Canadian hideaway and we jumped on the opportunity! Two vehicles, 6 hours, one border crossing, two (should have been 3) boat rides and we were there!

Robin took us on a hike through part of the White Shell Provencial Park. Here is Becky, Amy, Robin, Tina, Terri and Kris. Jean and I were the historians and not in the photo!

We were on West Hawk Lake which is part of the White Shell Provencial Park. The only way to the cabin is by boat. Very remote and beautiful!

It was a tough time away from our families....we did a tremendous amount of work (on our tans) and were educated quite a bit from the books we went through (not stating which subjects). I already have my reservation in for the 3rd annual trip!

Campin' Time with Auntie Lana and Cathy

Auntie Lana (Pat's sister) has taken the kids camping each

Medora Here We Come!!

On July 31st My Mom, Sister and all the kids headed West to Medora. It was the first time for all of us except my Mom. Beautiful Country!

This the is Painted Canyon just before Medora. These are part of the ND Badlands. Here is my Mom (Kaylene), holding Brady (1), Zach (6), Connor (4), Jaci (7) and Taylor (7)
More Photos of the National Park. If you get a chance check them out. They pop out of nowhere that is for sure!

Houston, Texas and PartyLite!

On July 25th I headed to Houston, TX for the annual PartyLite Conference. Here is a photo of the city from the Toyota Center Saturday evening. Candy, from Fargo, joined my team in May and this was her first conference. She had a blast and took it all in. There are some awesome new scents and the last Snow globe of the series!

These are the Roommates! Allie and Dawn are from St Peter, MN, then me and Candy. You cannot see the skyline of Houston very well behind us. We tried. We had a great time. Thanks everyone including my parents for watching the kids and Pat for holding down the fort!

Old Friends and New Friends

On July 13th, we packed up the van for a First time family get-away since the restaurant opened! Friday night we stayed with our friend Ron and our old friends/neighbors stopped by. Craig and Brenda along with Rollin and Diane. IT was so nice to visit and see you all.
On Saturday, friends Pat went to school with in Montevideo have a lake cabin on Buchanan by Ottertail and invited us to stay with them. They live in St Cloud, so it has been a while since we have seen them! It was so good to catch up! Here are the kids, Jaci and Julieanna and then Kaitlyn, Matt and Zach. We had a great time. Thanks guys!

Then we headed just a couple miles down the road to Blanch lake. Marlow and Janet are firends that live in Rapid City SD and stay for one week on the lake in MN. They invited to stop by and catch up. Pat worked with this gang at JC Penney's years ago! (sorry, I was still in Junior High!) Marcy (origianlly from Underwood) and Jeff live in Texas, Darcy (originally from Battle Lake) was a roommate of theirs and DeeDee (originally from Elbow Lake) also worked there. It was nice to see them and meet some of them for the first time. Amazing how it all worked out to meet on the same weekend!
We headed back to Fergus Falls and stayed with Ron and headed home early monday morning. Thanks Shawn for holding down the fort!

Camping time!

Zach is enjoying a stroll along the river. On Tuesday we were able to spend the night camping (for the first time) along the river. We spent the whole day together on the 4th and the crew did a great job at the store with out us!
Sunset on the Missouri
The bonfire with sunset and Pat and Uncle Jerry in the background. We all had a great time!

Growing Princess

Jaci poses for mommy. She has been under the weather lately. She contracted a virus that attacks her mouth with sores. She has been pretty miserable. We have been taking it easy. She is on the mend and today is back to normal after about a week!

Summer Fun!

The Missouri River divides Bismarck and Mandan. South of Bismarck is an area where the marine corp of engineers allows people to use sand trails and the river for recreation. We put in Pat's brother's jet ski and had some summer fun. Here is Pat and Zach enjoying the river!

Dakota even had his time for fun!

Jaci and Zach had their chance at "Chicken" with my cousin Jen and her friend Stefania.

The scenery along the river is amazing. This is looking over to the mandan side.

The sand trails are used by all types of vehicles. Mostly 4-wheelers, but also by dirt bikes, sand buggy's and decked out trucks!
